Queens Domain

ABC approached to Design and Construct this telecommunications project running fibre from the centre of Hobart through to the Tasman Bridge. This was an environmentally sensitive project running around the prestigious Queens Domain.

Queens Domain proved a difficult project, which was on hold with the client for many years due to their inability to identify a suitable route. This was mainly due to environmental restrictions surrounding the construction through the Queens Domain.

The project duration was 2 months utilising ABC’s JT3020 Directional Drill with a team of 10 employees. 1825 m of 63mm conduit was installed, fibre hauled and spliced into the network.
