Plenty Rd Sewerage Project

ABC undertook the construction of a 276m gravity sewer system in South Morang for Yarra Valley Water. The project involved the installation of DN225 and DN150 in rock ground conditions at depths between 2.2-2.8m from ground level. The site neighboured a Vic Track Rail Corridor on the metro Mernda line with the alignment of the pipeline positioned tightly against the fence line and through a carrier sleeve underneath the railway lines. The project presented several difficulties over the winter months coming into spring however our team were able to successfully overcome the wet conditions and complete the project in safe and orderly environment.
