Wonthaggi Water Reticulation
Upgrade of Wonthaggi's reticulation network, increasing pressure in the existing mains, replacing old water mains and undertaking new property connections throughout Wonthaggi
ABC was engaged by South Gippsland Water to supply and construct 1500 m of water mains through Wonthaggi’s main residential area due to water pressure and delivery issues within the township. As part of these works, ABC Civil Group were engaged to install;
- 1480 m of water main via horizontal directional drilling (HDD), as well as some sections to be open-cut.
- 83 property connections
- Removal and decommissioning of over 1400 m of existing mains
- 10+ connections on live assets under shut-down conditions
- Extensive traffic management and reinstatement works
