Lilydale Instant Lawn Dam Upgrade

ABC Civil Group were engaged by Lilydale Instant Lawn to reconstruct an existing Dam as well as undertake various earthworks and conduit installation.

The Project involved excavating and relocating approximately 6000 m3 of a sticky clay material, as well as reshaping and constructing over 10,000 m2 of the original dam. ABC were able to utilise our own 35 tonne excavators for the bulk excavation and final trim of the dam, and due to the sticky clay material we were transporting, decided to utilise the CAT 730 Ejector Dump Truck which helped the team tremendously. ABC Civil Group also installed 300 m of power conduit for the client via horizontal direction drilling, which was installed in under 2 days by our ever reliable Ditch Witch 40/20.
