Construction of 4km of 33kV conduit run betwen Cudgen and Kings Forest to service new major developments

ABC completed work on behalf of Essential Energy, inclusive of jointing points, cable hauling, road construction, amongst other service. The project was constructed in challenging conditions, with management of acid sulphate soils, groundwater, critically endangered fauna as well as alongside a koala protection zone. The project also included;

• 3 of 9m x 3m x 2m cable jointing pits
• HDD bores in excess of 400 metres
• Cable hauling (over 12km of 33kV cable)
• Design and construction of road and civil infrastructure
• Setup of dewatering facility
