Caulfield Racecourse WP5
Construction of the new Heath Track and upgrades to the existing Course Proper at the Caulfield Racecourse for Melbourne Racing Club
The project was completed with majority in-house plant, equipment and personnel, and we also lent on a reliable subconrator base in DDA Pty Ltd and Fuzlec Pty Ltd. The scope of works completed by ABC Civil Group was;
- 27 km drainage, power and communications infrastructure
- Installation of detention systems inluding 3 x 200kL Aquatec Tanks @ 5.5m depth, 2 x pump stations at 7-9m depth, 2 x 300kL concrete tanks at 7m depth
- 5.2km of drainage (250-900mm), 73 precast drainage pits.
- 2.5km of 9 x 110mm electrical and communications conduit were installed for the lighting upgrade
- 18,000 m3 of bulk earthworks and 15,000 m3 backfill & compaction (level 1)
