Brooklyn Powercor Depo

ABC Civil Group were contracted to assist with the construction of the Power Core Depot in Brooklyn. The works included the installation of 550m of DN180 PE and PVC. ABC liaised directly with Greater Western Water to enable a shutdown to be undertaken so that connection to the existing water main could be completed. ABC were also the primary contractor for the public lighting and signals package of works. These works included the installation of 800m of LV & HV conduits, 2000kVa kiosk, public lighting poles and a high voltage cable from the kiosk to an overhead connection. Strict deadlines were opposed by the client due to move in dates into the depot. This created a lot of urgency to get power to the depot necessary. ABC worked in line with Jemena and the client to ensure that this date was met and that utilities were available to the depot.
